Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Home Health position in Portland, ME, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and an active ME or compact RN license.

Details

  • Home health setting serving the Cumberland Division area
  • Day shift hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • EMR: Epic (experience required)
  • Float policy requires travel up to 25 miles between facilities as needed

Requirements

  • Active RN license (ME or compact) currently in hand — pending licenses are not accepted
  • BLS required; non-AHA certifications are accepted at submission but AHA-issued BLS must be obtained prior to start
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
  • Driver's License required for consideration
  • 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility (residents of Maine or New Hampshire) are considered local and are subject to a reduced pay rate
  • Local candidates are not eligible for contract renewals or extensions
  • Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this during the application process
  • RTO is at the manager's discretion; 3–4 days is considered reasonable for a 13-week contract
  • Use of AirPods, laptops, and personal cell phones while on the unit is prohibited
