Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department night shift position in Houston, TX, requiring a TX or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of ED experience.

Details

Located in a hospital emergency department (1st Floor ER unit)
Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
13-week contract

Requirements

Active TX or compact RN license required
Minimum 2 years of recent ED/ER nursing experience required
Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC accepted), ACLS, TNCC, CPI (or accepted equivalent: SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA), and NIH Stroke Scale certification
No certification may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted
One professional reference required
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
Copies of certifications will be required as part of the candidate profile

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my first travel assignment. American Traveler has made the entire process feel easy from start to finish.
