Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a day-shift travel position requiring 2+ years of experience and a NM or compact RN license.

Details

• General Medical-Surgical inpatient nursing unit with occasional non-critical pediatric patients on the floor
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Day shift, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Floating required
• No standing on-call schedule, though census flex on-call may occur before a scheduled shift if census is low
• Uses MedHost EMR
• Scrubs may be any color

Requirements

• Active RN license (NM or compact) required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
• 2+ years of recent Med/Surg experience required
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• Fingerprinting required for all NM travelers
• Active driver's license and US SSN required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Perform general Med/Surg nursing duties including care for occasional non-critical pediatric patients
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
• RTO requests must be less than one week
• Travelers who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
• Blocked scheduling may be accommodated if requested at time of application
