Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.

Details

• Work in a 12-bed Emergency Department within a hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:4-6
• Night shift schedule, varied hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week assignment length
• Uses EDIS/Medhost EMR system
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active RN license (MO or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
• Minimum 2 years of ER RN experience required
• No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of start
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Valid driver's license and US Social Security Number required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department utilizing the nursing process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities and provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel
• Scrub color: any solid color
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Candidates who worked at this health system as permanent staff within the past 2 years will not be considered
