Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU night shift position in Reno, NV, requiring a valid NV RN license and a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
Details
- Neuro ICU (Roseview R1) setting within a regional medical center
- Night shift schedule
- 13-week contract assignment
- Epic EMR used for charting; training provided during orientation or candidates may test out
- KRONOS used for time keeping
- Blocked scheduling is not permitted
Requirements
- Active NV RN license required; candidates who have never held a NV temp or permanent license may still be considered but must apply immediately upon offer
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
- All certifications must be AHA-issued
- SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
- A 13-week break is required before returning travelers may begin a new contract at this facility, regardless of prior contract length or number of extensions
- Requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront; no additional time will be added at the end of the contract to compensate for RTO
- Coverage for a minimum of 2 major holidays is required
