Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a General Surgical Unit position in Reno, NV, requiring 2 years of OR/surgical experience and an active NV RN license.
Details
- General Surgical Unit within a hospital setting
- Schedule is 4x10-hour shifts per week
- Uses Epic for charting
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active NV RN license required; RNs who have never held a NV license may still be considered but must apply for licensure immediately upon offer
- Minimum 2 years of surgical/OR nursing experience required
- All certifications must be AHA-issued
Additional Information
- Epic training is provided during orientation, or candidates may test out
- Coverage for a minimum of 2 major holidays will be required
- Time off requests (RTO) must be disclosed prior to consideration, as time is not added to the end of the contract to compensate for RTO
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
- After completing a contract (including extensions), a 13-week break is required before returning
- Blocked scheduling is not permitted
