Description
American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week IRF travel assignment at a inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Chandler, AZ.
Details
- Inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) setting with 50 beds
- Adult patient population including neurological rehabilitation, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, stroke, amputation, and orthopedic cases
- OT staff oversee approximately 9 patients for team conference reporting
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM shift with one required weekend shift per month (Saturday or Sunday)
- Ability to float to a sister facility approximately 15 minutes away based on census needs
- Specialized equipment includes In-motion, Synaptic, EKSO, and VR systems
- EHR systems: UDS and Cerner
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of OT experience required
- Experience in SNF, IRF, or acute care settings required
- Adult patient population experience required
- AHA certifications required
- Active OT license required if applicable
- SSN and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Maroon scrubs required
- OT staff typically report at 7:00 AM
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
