Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a Pediatric Operating Room position at a children's hospital, requiring a minimum of 4 years of OR experience and pediatric experience including neonates and infants.
Details
- Pediatric hospital setting within a large children's health system
- Pediatric Operating Room unit serving neonates, infants, and pediatric patients
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
- Rotating weekday and weekend schedule: Week 1 – Tuesday, Wednesday, Sunday; Week 2 – Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
- On-call is required for this position
- Epic EMR — experience preferred
- 13-week contract with possible extension
Requirements
- Active GA RN license or Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of consideration (pending license not accepted)
- Current BLS and PALS (American Heart Association) certifications required — must be active at time of consideration (pending certifications not accepted)
- CNOR certification preferred
- Minimum 4 years of recent OR experience preferred
- Pediatric OR experience required, including experience with neonates and infants
- Recent travel nursing experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Two professional references from supervisor level or higher, completed within the last 12 months, required for consideration
- Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
