Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week night shift assignment at an acute care hospital in West Virginia, working set Thursday–Saturday overnight shifts.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within the Radiology/CT department
• Imaging includes general X-ray, portable studies, and general CT
• Uses Toshiba CT scanner, Carestream DR, Canon DR, and Fuji PACS
• EMR: TruBridge (Evident) — Epic is also referenced in facility notes
• Set night shifts: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
• No on-call requirement
• Weekend coverage is required; holiday coverage may be required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT, ARRT (CT), and BLS
• West Virginia state license required if applicable
• Acute care setting experience required
• A valid, unexpired driver's license is required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Performs general CT imaging and X-ray, including portable studies
• Radiation badge must be provided by the agency — the facility does not supply one
• Black scrubs are required
• Hospitalist is in-house; RT is available 24/7; pharmacy is not 24/7
• No unit-specific orientation provided
• Candidates who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before reapplying
• Travelers may not work within the WVU system for more than one cumulative year without a 2-year break
• Background history disclosures are required at the time of consideration
• A supervisor reference and a peer or additional supervisor reference are required; if the candidate worked a permanent position in the last 12 months, one reference must be from that employer
• A skills checklist completed within the past year is required for consideration
