Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a NICU position in Madison, WI, requiring at least one prior travel contract and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Level of care: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Rotating shift schedule with 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
- 3x12-hour shifts per week
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Floating within the same discipline across local campuses may be required
- EMR: Epic (experience required)
Requirements
- Active WI RN license or compact RN license required
- Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and NRP
- Minimum 2 years of NICU RN experience required
- At least 1 completed travel nursing contract required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience with vasoactive medications including epinephrine, norepinephrine, and dopamine required
- One supervisory reference required for consideration
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
- Must not have been employed by the facility within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; local candidates in the Madison area are accepted but at a reduced rate
- Travelers are expected to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
- Time-off requests are limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving and winter holiday blackout periods
- First-time travelers are not eligible for this position — at least one prior travel contract is required
