Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in Brenham, TX, requiring ARRT (R)(CT) certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience performing CT and X-ray procedures.

Details

• Imaging/CT department setting in Brenham, TX
• Performs both CT and X-ray procedures overnight
• Schedule is 4x10-hour night shifts, Monday–Thursday, 8:00 PM–6:30 AM

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA only), ARRT (R), ARRT (CT)
• Active TX MRT license required (license required if applicable)
• Proficiency performing CT and X-ray procedures
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Flu vaccination is mandatory with no exemptions accepted
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs CT procedures across a broad patient population including newborn, pediatric, young adult, adult, and geriatric patients
• Responsible for radiation dose monitoring and understanding dose reference levels
• Utilizes iSTAT point-of-care testing for obtaining creatinine levels
• Maintains accurate imaging records and required documentation in accordance with department standards
• Expected to serve as a preceptor, providing training to new team members when needed
• Dark gray scrubs required
