Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer for a 13-week travel contract in a hospital-based Cardiac Ultrasound unit, requiring at least 6 months of recent experience in the role.

Hospital-based Cardiac Ultrasound unit (288-bed facility)
Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
13-week contract duration

Requirements

Minimum 6 months of experience within the last 6 months as an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer
Active licensure required if applicable
BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
Two professional references required (Florida position)
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

Travelers are scheduled every other weekend and holidays on a rotating basis with hospital staff

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my first travel assignment. American Traveler has made the entire process feel easy from start to finish. Everything was explained clearly, and I always knew what the next step was, i never felt like i was left in the dark. One of my favorite things has been how communicative everyone is. Amanda has been awesome throughout my assignment. She checks in regularly with a call or text just to see how things are going and make sure I don’t need anything.
