Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift travel assignment at a Joint Commission Accredited community hospital in Clyde, NC, serving all patient populations across a full-service acute care facility.

Details

• 154-bed Duke LifePoint acute care hospital offering orthopedics, spine services, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, emergency department, behavioral health, and a Chest Pain Center
• Respiratory Therapy department floats throughout the hospital as needed
• All patient populations served, including adult, geriatric, and pediatric
• Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts (7PM–7AM)
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RRT credential required
• Associate's degree or higher required
• 1–2 years of experience as an RRT required
• AHA certifications required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Orientation is conducted on a bi-weekly basis
• Teal scrubs required; facial piercings and non-natural hair colors are not permitted
• Position covers shifts for a transferring staff member
• Located in Clyde, NC, approximately 20 miles from Asheville and within driving distance of the Great Smoky Mountains, Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg (1.25 hrs), Knoxville (1.5 hrs), and Greenville, SC (1.5 hrs)
