Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week night shift travel assignment requiring at least 1 year of recent L&D experience and AWHONN fetal monitoring certification.

Details

• Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit with 14 LDRPs and 2 ORs
• Unit staffed with 60 total employees including charge RNs, L&D RNs, and PP RNs on both day and night shifts
• Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2 max for L&D and 3:1 for PP per AWHONN guidelines
• Unit performs versions, C-sections, vaginal assisted deliveries, and D&C procedures
• Uses Beacon equipment and Meditech/CPN EMR
• 13-week assignment on night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM-C or AWHONN (intermediate or advanced)
• Minimum of 1 year current acute care hospital L&D RN experience required
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• Postpartum experience highly preferred
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to laboring and postpartum patients in a fast-paced L&D unit
• Best fit for candidates who are adaptable, flexible, and consistent with a positive, low-drama demeanor
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered for this travel position
