Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and a Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist license for a 13-week travel contract in a hospital CT Scan department.
Details
- Hospital-based CT Scan department
- 3x12-hour day shifts per week, Monday, Wednesday–Friday from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM
- Backup call required every 9th weekend, with holiday call possible as needed
- Canon CT system in use
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required; license required if applicable
- Advanced ARRT CT registration strongly preferred
- Current BLS (healthcare provider) required
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine required
- 2+ years of experience as a CT Technologist preferred
- Two professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include producing CT images to assist in diagnosis of disease and injury across patient populations ranging from neonates to geriatric
- Ensures compliance with radiation control regulations including Joint Commission, state, federal, and local standards
- Participates in dose optimization education initiatives including Image Wisely and Image Gently
- May serve as a preceptor for new employees and assist with training of students, interns, and externs
- Assists in the evaluation of new imaging equipment as needed
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will be considered at a discounted pay rate
