Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with experience scrubbing EP devices and complex interventional cases for a 13-week travel assignment.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based cardiac cath lab setting
• Procedures include diagnostic and complex interventional cath cases, EP device implants (pacemakers, ICDs, Micras), and structural heart procedures
• Uses Siemens Sensis, Philips imaging systems, and Epic EMR
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Call required 1–2 nights per week and 2 weekends per 6-week period

Requirements

• Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required (AHA certifications only accepted)
• Ability to scrub EP devices including pacemakers, ICDs, and Micras
• Ability to scrub and monitor diagnostic and complex interventional cath cases
• EP experience preferred; structural heart experience is a plus
• License required if applicable
• Two supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Candidates must live 100+ miles from the facility's service area to be eligible

Additional Information

• Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must reside 100+ miles from the hospital's service area
• Orientation begins on Mondays with online computer-based learning (CBLs); modules average 4–5 hours and are completed during orientation
• Candidates must be available to complete a drug test within 12–14 calendar days prior to start and should have no prior engagements scheduled during that window
• Candidates must be willing to return for a second drug test if needed
• Fit testing is required; facial hair must be trimmed or removed per CDC guidelines — refusal may result in cancellation
• Any approved time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront
