Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Vascular Interventional Radiology position in Urbana, IL, requiring an IL RN license, Epic experience, and Level 1 Trauma background.

Details

Works in a Vascular Interventional Radiology unit within a hospital setting
Monday through Friday schedule, 7:30am–5:00pm
36 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
Weekend and holiday coverage required on a call rotation basis only
No floating requirements
Uses Epic EMR (experience required)
Familiarity with supplies and equipment used in various IR procedures is essential

Requirements

Active IL RN license in good standing (temporary license accepted)
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association)
Minimum 3 years of relevant nursing experience
Epic EMR experience required
Level 1 Trauma experience required
ASN required; BSN preferred

Additional Information

Administers medications and manages patient care during moderate sedation procedures
Monitors hemodynamics throughout procedures and provides procedure event documentation
Completes patient assessments, develops and modifies care plans, and implements nursing interventions
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (no local candidates)
RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract
Travelers who have been on assignment at this health system for 1 continuous year must either convert to permanent status or take a 6-month break before returning to any location within the health system
