Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Vascular Interventional Radiology position in Urbana, IL, requiring an IL RN license, Epic experience, and Level 1 Trauma background.
Details
- Works in a Vascular Interventional Radiology unit within a hospital setting
- Monday through Friday schedule, 7:30am–5:00pm
- 36 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
- Weekend and holiday coverage required on a call rotation basis only
- No floating requirements
- Uses Epic EMR (experience required)
- Familiarity with supplies and equipment used in various IR procedures is essential
Requirements
- Active IL RN license in good standing (temporary license accepted)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant nursing experience
- Epic EMR experience required
- Level 1 Trauma experience required
- ASN required; BSN preferred
Additional Information
- Administers medications and manages patient care during moderate sedation procedures
- Monitors hemodynamics throughout procedures and provides procedure event documentation
- Completes patient assessments, develops and modifies care plans, and implements nursing interventions
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (no local candidates)
- RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract
- Travelers who have been on assignment at this health system for 1 continuous year must either convert to permanent status or take a 6-month break before returning to any location within the health system
