Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a high-acuity Emergency Department position requiring at least 2 years of ED or ICU experience and ACLS certification.
Details
- Large, high-acuity emergency department with 118 beds
- Diverse patient population including behavioral health, boarding, emergency/trauma, and critically ill/ICU-level patients
- Typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
- 3x12 or 4x12 shift schedule available, 36 hrs/week, AM shift
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of ED or ICU experience post-orientation required
- Strong critical care skills and adaptability required for a dynamic, fast-paced environment

- Care for complex and unstable patients across a wide range of acuity levels
- Must be comfortable managing behavioral health and boarding patients alongside critical care cases
