Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position in Lafayette, CO, requiring at least 1 year of OR experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room (OR) setting
• Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts per week
• 40 hours per week
• Charting performed in Epic (EMR)
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts

Requirements

• Active CO single-state or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required — must not expire prior to start
• ASN from an accredited nursing program required; BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for OR patients
• Performs clinical documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Epic EMR experience is expected
• Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• BSN and unit-appropriate specialty certifications are preferred but not required
