Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery/Mom Baby Unit position requiring a compact or Montana RN license and Epic charting experience.

Details

• Work in the Mom Baby Unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week across 3 days per week
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic EMR for charting

Requirements

• Active RN license (Montana or Compact) currently in hand, no pending licenses allowed
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS as appropriate for unit or service, issued by American Heart Association and not expiring prior to start
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for Mom Baby patients
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive therapy to patients and families
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before becoming eligible for a travel assignment
• Background check and drug screening results required, with expectation to report to the lab for drug screening within 24 hours of assignment commitment
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
