Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Tech with a minimum of 2 years of experience and required ARRT(VI), RCIS, or RTRCI certification for a 13-week travel assignment in Louisville, KY.
Details
- Hospital-based cardiac cath lab setting
- Rotating schedule: Week 1 is Mon–Fri day shifts from 7:00 AM–3:30 PM; Week 2 is Mon–Fri call coverage from 3:30 PM–7:00 AM and Sat–Sun 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
- 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
- Current BLS required
- One of the following certifications required: ARRT(VI), RCIS, or RTRCI
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include preparing patients and procedure rooms for cath lab procedures, scrubbing procedures, and monitoring and recording hemodynamic pressures
- Role involves addressing health education needs for patients and families, managing patient care assignments, and applying knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions
