Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARMRIT and ARRT MR certifications for an evening shift assignment.

Details

• MRI department within adult acute care, adult ICU, adult outpatient, and ER/Trauma settings
• Performs abdominal, pelvic, head and neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal MRI studies
• Performs MRA and MRV studies including abdominal, head, neck, and thoracic imaging
• Cardiovascular imaging including MR Aortogram, MR Pulmonary, and MR Angio with bilateral runoff
• Uses Siemens MRI equipment
• Charting performed in Epic
• Monday-Friday evening shift from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM
• On-call requirement of 8 hours per pay period, every other Sunday

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience
• ARMRIT and ARRT MR certification required
• BLS certification required
• Epic charting experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Experience starting peripheral IVs preferred
• Experience with pediatric acute care and outpatient imaging preferred
• Experience with breast, chest, and myocardium MRI preferred
• Experience with MR Cardiac with and without contrast and with stress preferred
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this role
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
• Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
• All requested time off must be disclosed prior to starting the assignment
