Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of experience for an evening shift position requiring ARMRIT and ARRT MR certification.
Details
- Work in the MRI department performing a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures
- Patient population includes adult acute care, adult ICU, adult outpatient, ER/trauma, and preferred pediatric acute care and outpatient
- Perform imaging studies including abdomen and pelvis, head and neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular MR studies
- Procedures include MRA, MRV, MRCP, MR Angio with runoff, MR Aortogram, and MR Cardiac studies
- Uses Siemens MRI equipment
- Epic charting system experience required
- Monday-Friday evening shift, 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM
- On-call requirement of 8 hours per pay period, every other Sunday
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience required
- ARMRIT, ARRT MR, and BLS certifications required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Experience with peripheral IV starts and isolation precautions/PPE
- Proficiency in a broad range of MRI procedures across abdominal, neurological, cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, and spinal imaging
- State or compact license required if applicable
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be accepted
- Former staff members must wait at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- All requested RTO must be submitted at time of consideration
