Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 1-2 years of acute care experience for a 13-week hospital contract in Salem, OR, requiring active Epic and Oregon licensure.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting with inpatient PT responsibilities
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 8:00–17:30
• August schedule follows a Friday/Saturday, Monday/Tuesday rotation
• Includes at least 3 weekend shifts per 4-week rotation
• Holiday coverage may be required depending on contract timing
• Floating to a nearby affiliate hospital (approximately 15 minutes away) is required; refusal to float may result in contract cancellation
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• BS, MS, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from a program approved by the Committee on Accreditation in Education of the American Physical Therapy Association
• Active Oregon PT license required; no pending licensure accepted
• 1-2 years of physical therapy experience required; acute care experience preferred
• Epic EMR proficiency required — no exceptions
• Current BLS certification required
• COVID vaccination required; no exemptions
• License required if applicable

• Responsibilities include patient evaluation and development and follow-through of individualized treatment plans

• Former permanent employees of Salem Health must have been separated for at least 6 months before being eligible to apply as a traveler

• Pre-start and annual facility modules are required and completed separately from new hire orientation
