Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 1-2 years of acute care experience for a 13-week hospital contract in Salem, OR, requiring active Epic and Oregon licensure.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting with inpatient PT responsibilities
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 8:00–17:30
- August schedule follows a Friday/Saturday, Monday/Tuesday rotation
- Includes at least 3 weekend shifts per 4-week rotation
- Holiday coverage may be required depending on contract timing
- Floating to a nearby affiliate hospital (approximately 15 minutes away) is required; refusal to float may result in contract cancellation
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- BS, MS, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from a program approved by the Committee on Accreditation in Education of the American Physical Therapy Association
- Active Oregon PT license required; no pending licensure accepted
- 1-2 years of physical therapy experience required; acute care experience preferred
- Epic EMR proficiency required — no exceptions
- Current BLS certification required
- COVID vaccination required; no exemptions
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include patient evaluation and development and follow-through of individualized treatment plans
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate; no radius restriction
- All requested RTO must be finalized prior to submission and cannot be modified after submission — additional requests may result in removal from consideration
- Former permanent employees of Salem Health must have been separated for at least 6 months before being eligible to apply as a traveler
- Block scheduling is not accommodated
- Pre-start and annual facility modules are required and completed separately from new hire orientation
