Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring 2 years of OR experience and an OK or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital setting
- 12-week assignment with day shift schedule (5x8 hours, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
- On-call responsibilities required
- Floating within scope to other units as needed based on facility requirements
- Floating may also be required to other facilities within a 75-mile radius
- Block scheduling requests are not accommodated
Requirements
- Active OK or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
- NRP certification preferred
- EKG/Dysrhythmia competency testing required during compliance process if offered
- Circulating and scrubbing skills required
- Current and valid driver's license or state-issued ID required for consideration
- Utility bill in candidate's name with matching address within the last three months required for consideration
- 2 supervisory references required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
- Maximum of 5 days of RTO accepted per 13-week assignment, with no holiday RTO permitted
- Former INTEGRIS employees must have a minimum of 1-year separation from the facility to be eligible
- Any gaps in work history of 3 months or more must be explained
- Pending state licenses are not accepted
