Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience, including Trauma Level I, cardiac, and stroke experience, for a travel assignment on a weekend day shift schedule.

Details

• Adult acute care and adult outpatient setting
• 3x12-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM, working Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
• Procedures include CT of the abdomen and pelvis (with and without contrast), chest, head and neck, and spine/musculoskeletal imaging
• Contrast media preparation and/or administration is part of the role
• Equipment includes GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba CT scanners, as well as PACS
• Siemens experience preferred
• Epic EMR required with a minimum of 1 year of experience
• Floating to other units or campuses within the health system may be required based on census needs, limited to areas where competencies have been demonstrated

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Cardiac, stroke, and Trauma Level I experience required
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required; both are preferred
• BLS required
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Proficiency in CT imaging of the abdomen, pelvis, chest, head and neck, and musculoskeletal regions
• Skills required include isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media preparation and administration, and peripheral IV insertion
• License required if applicable
• Driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the flagship Prisma Health Richland campus to be eligible; candidates under 50 miles are ineligible
• Orientation is held every Monday
• Pre-assignment modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login credentials and are completed annually; up to 16 hours of module time is billable
• Two professional references are required for consideration
