Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in a complex adult medical, surgical, transplant, and trauma intensive care unit requiring an active MA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of ICU or acute care experience.
Details
- Blake 12 ICU is an 18-bed adult medical, surgical, abdominal/lung transplant, and trauma intensive care unit
- Cares for some of the highest acuity critically ill patients in a large multidisciplinary team environment
- 36 hours per week on a rotating day/night split (50/50)
- Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
- 13-week assignment
- EMR: Epic (charting system used on unit)
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
- BLS certification required — must be AHA only
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care inpatient experience or current ICU experience required
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
- Epic EMR experience preferred given unit usage
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- Active MA RN license must be in hand at the time of consideration — no pending licenses accepted
Additional Information
- Provides critical care nursing to a complex, high-acuity patient population including medical, surgical, transplant, and trauma ICU patients
- Flu vaccine is required — no religious or medical exemptions accepted
- Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive a reduced pay rate
- No validated parking available at this Boston location; public parking is available at candidate's expense
- Timekeeping system: UKG/Kronos
- RTO requests must be submitted at the time of consideration
- First-time travelers are not eligible due to the 1-year travel experience requirement
