Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years experience and California State Mammography Licensure required for consideration.
Details
- Outpatient imaging setting requiring float coverage between three locations including a mobile van and breast center
- 5x8 day shift schedule, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with some variation
- Rotating weekend schedule includes every other weekend with one Saturday per month
- Weekend rotation shifts run Tuesday-Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with Monday off
- Performs diagnostic mammograms, screening mammograms, and digital mammography
- Uses Hologic 3D mammography equipment
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
- ARRT (M) and BLS certification required
- CRT certification required
- California State Mammography Licensure required by the California Department of Health Services as a Certified Radiologic Technologist
- License required if applicable
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology required
- Epic charting system experience required
Additional Information
- Candidate will float between three clinical locations including a mobile imaging van
- Adheres to Universal Precautions and Core Measures standards
- First-time travelers may be considered
- Accepts local candidates at local rate
- Must live outside a 50-mile radius to qualify for travel rate
- Maximum RTO is 7 days per contract
- Only one holiday request per contract will be approved
