Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility position in Alaska, requiring at least 1 year of LTC experience and an active Alaska RN license.
Details
- Long-term care/skilled nursing facility (LTC/SNF) setting
- Day shift, 12-hour shifts scheduled any day Sunday through Saturday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- On-call as needed
- Patient ratios: 1:18 on days, 1:25 on nights
- Charting system: Epic (required)
- Medication dispensing via Pyxis
- No floating required
- Local candidates are accepted
Requirements
- Active Alaska RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of LTC experience required
- BSN preferred but not required
- COVID vaccine or signed declination form required for employment eligibility
- Proficiency with PC, applicable software, and clinical database systems
Additional Information
- Provides individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and primary nursing principles in accordance with departmental policies and standards of practice
- General and Planetree orientation required; all modules must be completed prior to start
- Scrubs required
- Candidates with any previous employment at this facility must disclose it for a do-not-use (DNU) check
- Unvaccinated staff are required to wear masks while on-site
