Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift position requiring 2-5 years of experience, ARRT CT/R certification, and Level II trauma center experience.
Details
- Acute care Level II teaching hospital setting with 370 staffed beds
- CT Tech department within Radiology/Cardiology
- Night shift, 5x8 hours from 23:00 to 07:00
- Uses Epic charting system
- Uses Siemens CT equipment and PACS for image display and post-processing
- Works within Emergency Department and Level II Trauma Center settings
Requirements
- 2-5 years of CT Tech experience required, 5+ years preferred
- ARRT CT, ARRT R, and BLS certifications required (license required if applicable)
- Community hospital experience required
- Level II trauma experience required, Level I trauma experience preferred
- Teaching hospital experience preferred
- Epic charting experience required
- Skilled in CT procedures including abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, chest, and vascular studies
- Proficient in contrast media preparation and administration, peripheral IV starts, radiation safety, and isolation precautions/PPE
- Experience with multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) and region of interest (ROI) measurement
- First-time travelers accepted
Additional Information
- Perform a wide range of CT imaging studies including abdomen, pelvis, brain, spine, chest, and vascular studies in a trauma center environment
- Caribbean blue scrub color required
- RTO requests subject to manager's discretion
- Candidates within a 75-mile radius may be considered local and accepted at a lower pay differential
- Candidates with prior work history at any Main Line location should disclose location and dates worked
