Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position at a Joint Commission accredited hospital, requiring an active NC or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Medical Surgical Combination unit of a 154-bed hospital with 39 unit beds
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Common diagnoses/treatments include fractures, COPD, hypertension, chest pain, CHF, and infections
• Uses Paragon EHR system
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required on weekends
• No call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand
• Minimum 1+ years of experience required
• AHA certifications required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Active Nursys/licensure verification required at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Facility offers orthopedics, spine services, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, ED, and behavioral health services along with 11 multi-specialty physician clinics
• Facility is a Chest Pain Center and Joint Commission Accredited
• Scrub color for RNs is navy blue
• Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel pay rate
• Candidates cannot have worked perm staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
• Bi-weekly orientation schedule
