Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and RCIS or ARRT certification for a 13-week day shift contract in a diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab setting.

Details

• Diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab setting
• Procedures include diagnostic catheterizations (adult), Impella insertion, permanent and temporary pacemaker insertion, Rotablator atherectomy, electrophysiology studies, and IVL/Shockwave
• Equipment includes ultrasound
• 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• On-call requirement every other week on a 7 days on / 7 days off rotation

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of cath lab experience required
• RCIS (CCI) required, OR valid ARRT (R) with TX state license
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Previous travel experience highly preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures including EP studies, pacemaker insertions, atherectomy, and advanced interventional techniques
• The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana — a positive result is an automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid all substances that could produce a positive result, including CBD products
• Orientation includes non-billable online modules (approx. 6–7 hours) completed via HealthStream
• RTO must be submitted at time of consideration
