Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a 13-week ICU assignment requiring TX or compact RN licensure and at least two years of critical care experience.

Details

• Work in a conglomerate ICU unit covering medical, surgical, and cardiovascular patient populations
• Complex critical care caseload including TAVR, CABG, CVA, respiratory distress, TNK, GIB, DKA, CEA, sepsis, fem pop, thoracotomy, STEMI, HF, and respiratory failure patients
• Utilizes advanced equipment and interventions such as vent management, HFNC, TTM, IABP, Impella, and CRRT
• Shift runs 06:45 to 19:15
• 13-week assignment length
• Must be able to float within the critical care service line, including ICU and step-down units

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum of two years of ICU experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Current ACLS certification (AHA) required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Primary source license/certificate verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Provide critical care nursing support across a high-acuity, multi-specialty ICU
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates to work the position at a reduced rate
• Must have a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• COVID vaccination is not required
