Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a 13-week ICU assignment requiring TX or compact RN licensure and at least two years of critical care experience.
Details
- Work in a conglomerate ICU unit covering medical, surgical, and cardiovascular patient populations
- Complex critical care caseload including TAVR, CABG, CVA, respiratory distress, TNK, GIB, DKA, CEA, sepsis, fem pop, thoracotomy, STEMI, HF, and respiratory failure patients
- Utilizes advanced equipment and interventions such as vent management, HFNC, TTM, IABP, Impella, and CRRT
- Shift runs 06:45 to 19:15
- 13-week assignment length
- Must be able to float within the critical care service line, including ICU and step-down units
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Minimum of two years of ICU experience required
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
- Current ACLS certification (AHA) required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Primary source license/certificate verification required within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
- Provide critical care nursing support across a high-acuity, multi-specialty ICU
- Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates to work the position at a reduced rate
- Must have a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- COVID vaccination is not required
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
