Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an outpatient Blood Marrow Collection Program position at a leading cancer center in Washington, DC, requiring at least 2 years of experience and a prior travel assignment.

Details

• Outpatient setting within a cancer center's Blood Marrow Collection Program
• Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• 30-week contract covering a maternity leave of absence

Requirements

• Active DC RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience within the last 7 years
• At least 1 prior travel assignment required for consideration
• Proficient IV insertion skills required
• Two supervisory references required, including one from the most recent assignment, supporting at least 2 years of experience in the previous 3 years

Additional Information

• Nurses with previous MedStar employment must have been separated for a minimum of one year before returning as a traveler
• Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are considered local and may be accepted at a different rate
• A copy of your driver's license is required, and your address must match your license
• No RTO is permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment; RTO must be submitted upfront and cannot exceed 7 days per 13-week contract period
