Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an outpatient clinic setting, treating an adult orthopedic hand therapy caseload with at least 6 months of hand therapy-specific experience required.

Details

• Outpatient clinic setting in West Chester, Ohio
• Covering a maternity leave for a full-time OT
• Adult orthopedic hand therapy caseload with occasional post-CVA hand therapy patients (less than 2% of caseload)
• Combination of surgical and non-surgical patients
• Caseload of 40-50 patients per week, approximately 10 patients per day
• 1-hour evaluations and 30-minute follow-up visits
• No FCEs or work conditioning required
• NextGen EMR used for documentation
• Schedule of four 10-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, with flexibility required
• Requires 2 late nights per week with last patient scheduled at 6:00 PM
• Clinic hours are Monday-Thursday 7:00 AM-7:00 PM and Friday 7:00 AM-5:00 PM, closed weekends
• No floating required

Requirements

• Current, active Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
• Minimum 6 months of hand therapy-specific caseload experience required
• Must be comfortable treating hand patients
• CHT certification not required
• Must be able to fabricate custom splints as ordered by physicians
• Experience treating workers' compensation patients preferred
• New graduates accepted
