Description
American Traveler is seeking a part-time travel Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with 2+ years of vascular experience for a 20-week assignment in a vascular surgery clinic setting.
Details
- Vascular surgery clinic setting within an outpatient health center
- Caseload of 5–7 patients per day
- Procedures include venous insufficiency exams, bypass graft studies, carotid studies, EVAR imaging, and endoleak assessment
- Phillips ultrasound equipment used
- Epic EMR system in use
- Part-time schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- No float requirement
- No call requirements
- No weekend hours required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent vascular ultrasound experience
- Active ARDMS certification with vascular specialty (RVT or RPVI)
- Current BLS certification
- Proficiency with venous insufficiency exams, bypass graft studies, and carotid studies
- Experience with waveform interpretation, EVAR imaging, and endoleak assessment preferred
- Active license required if applicable
- US SSN required — Canadian SIN not accepted
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Perform vascular ultrasound studies including venous insufficiency exams, bypass grafts, carotid studies, EVAR imaging, and endoleak checks
- Mandatory education modules, hospital orientation, and Epic training must be completed prior to first day on unit
- Black scrubs required
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible at a reduced bill rate
- Waveform interpretation and EVAR/endoleak imaging experience is preferred but not required
