Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Tele Float position requiring 2 years of specialty experience and Epic charting proficiency.

Details

• Acute care teaching hospital with Level III trauma designation
• Tele Float unit with ability to work Med/Surg as needed
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:30)
• Required to work every other weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals to meet facility needs
• Uses Epic (Excellian) charting system

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required (pending license accepted)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic/Excellian charting experience required
• 1 supervisor reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Care for telemetry and med/surg patient populations with cardiac monitoring and emergency response needs
• Navy blue scrub color required
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered, as local candidates are not accepted for this position
• Returning staff must have been separated from perm employment (staff or per diem) for at least 3 months prior to starting
• RTO requests ideally should not exceed 5 days
