Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years experience and required Siemens equipment experience for a Level I Trauma teaching hospital.

Details

• Work in the CT department of an acute care hospital
• Adult patient population including Emergency Department, ICU, and Level I Trauma cases
• Perform CT scans of abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck, spine, and musculoskeletal regions with and without contrast
• Specialized procedures include brain perfusion and vascular CTA studies
• Utilizes Siemens CT equipment and PACS imaging system
• Charting performed in Epic
• Night shift, 4x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with variable days of the week
• 2 call shifts required per month
• May float within scope of practice to meet facility needs

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• Siemens CT equipment experience required
• ARRT (R) and BLS certification required; ARRT (CT) preferred
• WA RAD license required if applicable
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Teaching hospital and Level I Trauma experience preferred
• Skilled in preparation and administration of contrast media
• Experience starting peripheral IVs preferred

Additional Information

• Facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital with Level I Trauma status and 500 staffed beds
• Solid color scrubs accepted, with light blue scrubs also provided for the unit
• COVID vaccination and booster required with no exceptions
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate with no radius restriction
• RTO should be kept to a minimum and cannot be requested during the first two weeks of the assignment
• Candidates who previously worked at the facility must have a separation period of 18 months before returning as a travel clinician
