Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring strong labor and postpartum experience and newborn stabilization skills.

Details

• Work in the Women's Care Unit caring for patients from childbearing years through geriatric years, as well as infants up to 28 days of life
• Primarily night shift (1800-0630) with occasional day shift coverage as needed
• 36 or 48 hour work weeks available

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact) currently in hand from the State of California
• Current certifications: BLS, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring, NRP, and hospital conscious sedation certification
• ACLS and STABLE certifications preferred
• 3 to 4 years of labor and delivery experience required
• Strong labor experience with comfort in postpartum care
• Newborn stabilization skills required
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• Basic computer skills required

Additional Information

• Responsible for supervising and coordinating patient care with other disciplines
• All associates must receive required vaccinations as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) will be automatically declined
• Candidates with a prior hit on their license will not be considered
• Local candidates are accepted with no radius rule, and local rates match travel rates
