Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift Radiology position requiring ARRT certification in CT and at least 2 years of specialty experience.
Details
- Work in the Diagnostic Radiology department of a hospital setting
- Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional diagnostic images and perform related imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy
- Patient population ranges from adolescent through geriatric
- Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts (6:30 PM-7:00 AM), Thursday through Saturday
- Call requirement of once per week
- Uses PACS and teleradiology systems for image transfer
Requirements
- ARRT certification as R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R) required, with advanced CT certification required or preferred depending on state
- BLS certification required (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS)
- Fluoroscopy license required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT required
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
- Venipuncture certification preferred
- Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients across the lifespan
Additional Information
- Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
- Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information in compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and supply inventory management for imaging equipment
- Located in a scenic community along the Columbia River Gorge
- Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel candidates
- Required vaccinations apply as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
- Candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will not be considered
