Description

American Traveler is looking for a Physical Therapist with recent EPIC experience for a full-service community and regional teaching hospital.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within a regional teaching hospital
• Day shift schedule, 40 hours per week (8x5's)
• Floating required to other network sites depending on staffing and census, though the primary site will be the main assignment location
• Uses Epic EMR system

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required if licensed on or after January 2016, or foreign equivalent
• 2 years of Physical Therapy experience preferred
• Physical Therapy licensure in state of practice required (License required if applicable)
• BLS certification from an approved vendor required
• Recent EPIC experience within the last 12 months required

Additional Information

• Plans and conducts treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions
• Serves as co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups
• Completes evaluations and establishes individualized treatment plans using appropriate clinical techniques and tools
• Provides therapy interventions using appropriate treatment protocols and techniques
• Establishes individualized care and discharge plans and communicates them to appropriate parties
• Completes comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines
• Supervises assigned assistants
• Required vaccinations are a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel rates with no radius rule
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
