Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 1+ years of experience and ARRT CT certification, and first-time travelers are welcome to apply.
Details
- Hospital-based CT Scan department serving outpatient, inpatient, ED, and ICU patients
- Patient population includes pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, with neonatal and infant experience preferred
- Performs abdomen and pelvis CT with and without contrast, chest CT, head and neck CT, and spine and musculoskeletal imaging
- Special procedures may include aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, colonography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, transplant studies, and vascular CTA
- Uses GE and Siemens equipment along with PACS system
- Epic EMR experience required
- 3x12-hour evening shifts, Friday through Sunday, from 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM
- May be required to float to any campus within the health system
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
- BLS and ARRT CT certification required (license required if applicable)
- Experience with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations required; neonatal and infant experience preferred
- Outpatient, inpatient, ED, and ICU experience required; NICU and PICU experience preferred
- Experience with PACS and contrast media required
- Experience with biopsies and IV starts preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Active license must be in hand at time of consideration
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- All candidates, regardless of specialty, must pass a compliance EKG exam with up to two attempts allowed
- Level I Trauma and teaching hospital experience preferred
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Cardiac CT and calcium scoring experience preferred
- Candidates must be flexible with scheduling due to a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
- RTO requests must be submitted with the initial application; post-submission RTO requests are not accepted
