Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 1+ years of experience and ARRT CT certification, and first-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Details

• Hospital-based CT Scan department serving outpatient, inpatient, ED, and ICU patients
• Patient population includes pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, with neonatal and infant experience preferred
• Performs abdomen and pelvis CT with and without contrast, chest CT, head and neck CT, and spine and musculoskeletal imaging
• Special procedures may include aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, colonography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, transplant studies, and vascular CTA
• Uses GE and Siemens equipment along with PACS system
• Epic EMR experience required
• 3x12-hour evening shifts, Friday through Sunday, from 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM
• May be required to float to any campus within the health system

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
• BLS and ARRT CT certification required (license required if applicable)
• Experience with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations required; neonatal and infant experience preferred
• Outpatient, inpatient, ED, and ICU experience required; NICU and PICU experience preferred
• Experience with PACS and contrast media required
• Experience with biopsies and IV starts preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Active license must be in hand at time of consideration
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility

• All candidates, regardless of specialty, must pass a compliance EKG exam with up to two attempts allowed
• Level I Trauma and teaching hospital experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Cardiac CT and calcium scoring experience preferred
• Candidates must be flexible with scheduling due to a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• RTO requests must be submitted with the initial application; post-submission RTO requests are not accepted
