Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift CT Technologist with 1+ years of CT experience and ARRT-R certification for a community hospital setting.

Details

• Community hospital setting within the CT Tech unit
• Supports Emergency Department and ICU patient populations
• Night shift, 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Thursday from 20:30 to 07:00
• Independent worker role on a minimally staffed shift
• Uses Philips Ingenuity and Siemens Go Top CT scanners along with PACS
• Performs abdomen and pelvis imaging, brain perfusion, vascular CTA, head and neck imaging, spine and musculoskeletal imaging, and chest imaging including vascular chest studies
• Performs 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement post-processing
• May float to other units or campuses within qualified competencies based on facility census needs

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent CT Technologist experience required
• ARRT-R and BLS certification required; ARRT-CT certification preferred
• State license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Epic EMR required
• Community hospital experience required
• Experience with Philips and Siemens CT equipment required
• Proficiency in contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture required
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE required

Additional Information

• Responsible for performing CT imaging studies including special procedures, vascular studies, and post-processing techniques
• Hunter Green scrub color required
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Orientation occurs every Monday
• Travelers must complete pre-assignment testing and required modules within 48 hours of receiving login credentials
• Staff may be required to float to other units or campuses based on qualifications and demonstrated competencies
• Travelers must be more than 50 miles from the relevant flagship hospital campus to be eligible for this specialty position
