Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT/Rad Tech Dual Modality for a 13-week contract requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARRT(R)(CT) certification.

Details

• Position based in the CT Scan department of a 182-bed Trauma Level IV teaching hospital with Chest Pain and Stroke Center designations
• Department averages 325 patients per day across modalities
• Patient population spans ED, Inpatient, and Outpatient areas with a variety of diagnoses
• Equipment includes Siemens and GE imaging systems
• EMR used is EPIC
• 12-hour day shifts, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM
• 36 standard hours per week on a 4-week schedule cycle
• Primary schedule includes weekend rotation
• Call requirements vary by modality and will be discussed during interview

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of core experience in the specialty area, with most recent experience within the last year
• BLS and ARRT(R)(CT) certification required for Dual Modality CT/DX
• Active state license required if applicable
• Photo ID collected during compliance process
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full DOB required for consideration
• At least 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

• Orientation includes online NEO courses plus 3-5 days of departmental orientation depending on modality
• Travelers will be expected to work 75% of holidays

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
• Returning employees must be separated from any AHSE facility for at least 1 year after working a permanent position
