Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a split CT/X-Ray role requiring 2+ years of ER CT/X-Ray experience and recent Epic EMR experience.

Details

• Split CT/X-Ray role within the ER setting
• Weekend shifts Saturday-Sunday, 2x12 hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Flexibility required to work either day or evening shifts during the week depending on department needs
• Requires 5-6 call shifts per month with some flexibility for specific unavailable days
• Uses GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba imaging equipment along with PACS
• Performs abdomen and pelvis, chest, spine (cervical, lumbar, thoracic), musculoskeletal trauma, and head/neck CT studies with and without contrast
• Serves adult acute care and adult outpatient populations

Requirements

• ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in ER for CT and X-ray
• Epic EMR experience required within the last 12 months and must be clearly documented on profile
• Must pass Epic competency exam with only one attempt allowed
• Skilled in contrast media preparation and administration
• Experience starting peripheral IVs
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Candidates requiring fit testing must be clean-shaven

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging studies including abdomen, pelvis, chest, spine, musculoskeletal trauma, and head/neck exams
• Travelers are expected to float unless otherwise stated
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
