Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 1 year of recent acute care L&D experience and current AWHONN/NCC-EFM, BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
Details
- Work in a 17-bed Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
- Unit staffed with 1 Charge RN, 5-6 RNs, and 1 OB Scrub Tech per shift
- Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:3 and may fluctuate with acuity
- Uses EFM (TOCCO, US), Doppler, and Novii equipment
- EMR system is Meditech / CPN
- Night shift schedule from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Active CO or Compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year current acute care hospital L&D experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN or NCC-EFM (Intermediate or Advanced)
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Meditech EMR experience preferred
- CEFM and RNC-OB certifications preferred
- Willingness to precept preferred
- US Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for consideration (Canadian SSNs not accepted)
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care for patients undergoing labor, C-section, PIT, magnesium drip, IA, ECV, and cerclage placement procedures
- Work closely with a collaborative team of RNs, Charge nurses, and OB Scrub Techs
- Strong teamwork, communication, and exceptional patient experience skills valued
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
