Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift hospital position requiring recent acute care experience and multiple advanced certifications.
Details
- Work in a hospital Respiratory Therapy department with 350 beds
- Day and night shifts staffed with 1 charge and 5 staff members each
- Variable patient ratios
- Uses Hamilton G5/C1/T1, V60, and Vyair Avea ventilator equipment
- Meditech EMR used, prior experience preferred but not required
- Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential through NBRC
- Active state license required if applicable
- Minimum 6 months of current acute care RRT hospital experience within the last 6 months
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
- AHA or ARC certifications accepted, none expiring within first 30 days of start
- PEDS/NICU/PICU experience preferred
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri)
Additional Information
- Perform ventilator management and airway management procedures
- Work as part of an energetic, team-oriented staff with a strong focus on patient experience
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted
