Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an Inpatient Acute Care setting, requiring 1+ year of independent practice experience and offering a 21-week holiday coverage contract.
Details
- Inpatient Acute Care setting
- Patient population includes CVA, orthopedic, and dementia cases with discharge planning needs
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Schedule is Monday through Friday, 0800-1630
- May float throughout the hospital, excluding pediatrics
- 21-week contract providing holiday coverage
Requirements
- Active WA state OT license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience with ability to work independently
- Experience with patient evaluation, therapy, and home program recommendations required
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, providing therapy, and developing home program recommendations for discharge
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Neutral or solid color scrubs required
- Parking available adjacent to the hospital
