Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Cardiology/Progressive Care Unit position requiring a New Mexico or compact RN license and night shift availability.
Details
- Hospital-based Cardiology/Progressive Care Unit setting
- 13-week travel assignment
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Requirements
- Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact) currently in hand
- Prior Cardiology/PCU nursing experience preferred
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care to cardiology and progressive care patients
- Area competency exams are highly valued by this facility if available

Pros
Unit is comprised of many travelers. Core staff and travelers have all been fantastic! The unit is set up quite well to manage the surges of patients. It is the only main hospital around so it can definitely provide good experience. Most of the providers I've encountered over the last couple months actually listen to the nurses and are easy to work with.
Cons
It is definitely busy before the size of the town. I can't say I have any other cons.
