Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for an acute care setting requiring 2+ years of CT experience, ARRT (R) certification, and CA state licensure.
Details
- Perform CT scans and X-rays in an acute care hospital setting
- 5x8 hour variable day shifts, either 7:00 AM-3:30 PM or 9:30 AM-6:00 PM
- Rotating weekend shifts required
- Epic charting system experience required
Requirements
- ARRT (R) certification required
- BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
- CRT-Fluoro (Radiology Fluoroscopy) license required if applicable
- Valid CA state license required
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience in an acute care setting required
- Proficiency with image display and post-processing, including 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction
- Experience with contrast media preparation and administration
- Skilled in radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
- Experience with venipuncture and starting peripheral IVs
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
Additional Information
- Performs a range of CT studies including abdomen/pelvis, chest, head and neck, spine, and musculoskeletal imaging
- Experience with special procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, and vascular CTA preferred
- Utilizes GE equipment and PACS system
- Accepts local candidates at the local rate
- 50-mile radius rule applies
- Former employees must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
- Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request permitted
