Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 4-week night shift assignment requiring RRT certification and prior teaching hospital experience.

Details

  • Inpatient respiratory care setting
  • Adult, adult ICU, and adult ED patient population, along with general pediatric respiratory care
  • 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week
  • Weekend coverage required as needed
  • Schedule flexibility required with no block scheduling
  • No on-call requirements
  • No floating required
  • No charge duties required

Requirements

  • Must hold RRT credential (CRT not accepted)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience required
  • Teaching hospital experience required
  • Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required
  • AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and AHA PALS certifications required
  • License required if applicable
  • Prior travel experience preferred
  • Reliable personal transportation strongly recommended due to limited public transit access

Additional Information

  • Provide respiratory therapy care across adult ICU, ED, and general inpatient units
  • Bi-weekly orientations held on Mondays
  • First-time travelers may be considered
  • Local candidates accepted
  • Rates are tiered based on direct-line mileage distance from facility
